This garage conversion shows what a difference the right specification makes. We installed floor insulation and laid a new timber floor, lined the walls and ceiling with insulated plasterboard, fixed OSB boarding to two walls, and ran underfloor heating beneath a new screed floor. New window boards and skirting boards throughout give the space a clean, finished feel.
The result is a warm, well-lit room that works year-round — a significant step up from a cold storage space, and a practical addition to the home.
